PRE-TOUR INFORMATION:
We provide pre-tour information relevant to all countries in which we operate, and this should answer most questions a guest might have regarding travelling on safari with us. We will send this to you on confirmation with a suggested packing list.
PASSPORT & VISAS:
- All visitors require a valid passport together with onward travel documents and sufficient funds for the duration of your stay. Please ensure you have sufficient blank VISA pages (not endorsement pages) in your passport, with at least 4 consecutive/side by side blank pages. Our recommendation is 6 pages if you are traveling through more than one country on your journey. If there is insufficient space in the passport then entry into a country could be denied. Sublime Wilderness Odyssey will not be held liable for cancellation in this event.
- Many countries have strict travel laws regarding the entry and exit of minor children (under 18 years of age). In addition to a passport, the minor must be in possession of other documentation, depending on the applicable regulations. This may include an unabridged birth certificate. These regulations are subject to change and will differ from person to person. You are urged to consult the website of the applicable country’s Department of Home Affairs and ensure that any minors accompanying you have the correct documentation. Sublime Wilderness Odyssey will not be held liable for any outcome should you fail to have the correct travel documents.
- In general, all passport holders should verify with their travel agent or relevant consulate concerning visa entry requirements. If you are extending your journey to other countries, please establish entry requirements for those countries as well. Applications, costs and relevant documentation are the responsibility of the traveler.
- Please ensure that you have all necessary visas prior to departure from your home country (unless these can be obtained on arrival) as Sublime Wilderness Odyssey, their staff, their agents and their operators cannot be held liable if entry is refused.

- Prior to confirming the booking, each guest is urged to take out comprehensive travel, medical, cancellation, curtailment and default insurance for the duration of their trip. We are not in any way responsible for your insurance requirements.
- Due to the remote areas in which we operate, it is vital that all guests are covered for emergencies and other unforeseen circumstances.
- We will not be held responsible for any guest traveling without insurance.
- The relevant cancellation policy applies should the guest fail to join or start their safari/journey for any reason, including airline delays or missed connections. Please ensure adequate travel insurance is in place for this possibility.
- The itinerary may include camps/lodges that are situated in malaria areas. Please consult a general practitioner, pharmacist or travel clinic, and establish what precautions will be required.
- Due to the logistics of traveling on a safari to remote areas, we strongly recommend that all guests read the literature provided. Should there be any further queries, please feel free to contact your journey specialist.
